Transportation is a huge barrier for people with developmental disabilities, whether they rely on other licensed drivers or physically need certain vehicles to travel comfortably. At AHHA, our transportation services come in many forms. Every home has access to their own bus or van. Every residential individual has access to Medical Appointment Personnel who drive individuals to their medical appointments and listen to understand their medical needs.

Our transportation services also ensure that AHHA individuals can get to their vocational programs during the day, and get home safely in time for dinner. Our transportation also includes our maintenance team. Ensuring repairs and residential needs are taken care of, our maintenance staff need reliable vehicles to transport items and tools to the homes they’re traveling to.
