AHHA’s Clinical Services Department provides occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy in a variety of settings. Some therapy is offered directly by clinical staff and we offer it through consultative services as well.
Therapy staff also provide support to our front line care workers, called direct support professionals, and these workers are trained as well in clinical areas needed for daily care and habilitative services. Additionally, a behavioral analyst and behavioral technicians support individuals and staff in developing strategies for daily routines in their residential, vocational and community environments.
Our Maumee campus has a heated, fully-accessible pool, a multi-sensory room, and a gym, offering therapeutic environments for people supported by AHHA. They can be rented by the community too. We provide arthritis exercise classes and swimming lessons in the pool. Find out more in our “play” section.
